Your First Meeting, what to expect?

During your complimentary initial consultation, you’ll learn how the advisor works with clients, the value you can receive from the advisor, the costs associated if you decide to work together, and next steps.

You may be asked to provide financial documents such as:

  • Bank statements
  • Investment statements
  • Insurance policies
  • 401(k) statements

The initial visit is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the Scarlet Oak Financial Services team and meet the financial advisor, to determine if Scarlet Oak Financial Services would be a good fit to help you achieve your financial goals.

To help you prepare for your consultation, you should have a basic idea of your current financial picture and financial goals. Consider how you would answer questions such as:

  • What are your most important financial goals right now?
  • What concerns you most about your finances?
  • Did a specific life event or need prompt you to seek advice?
  • How are your investments performing in current market conditions?
  • What are you looking for from a financial advisor? What are you not receiving currently?

Please let us know if you are currently working with an advisor, and why do you feel you would benefit from a second opinion.

Your first meeting is the beginning of an ongoing process and relationship.

Once you decide to work with us at Scarlet Oak Financial Services, you can expect:
