The Financial Planning Process consists of Listening to our Clients and guiding them through the process:
- Establishing and defining the client-planner relationship.
- Gathering client data, including goals.
- Analyzing and evaluating your financial status.
- Developing and presenting financial planning recommendations and/or alternatives.
- Implementing the financial planning recommendations.
- Monitoring the financial planning recommendations.
The client and the planner should agree on who will monitor the progress towards the stated goals. If the planner is in charge of the process, a review should be done periodically with the client to update the progress and adjust the recommendations, if needed, as your life changes.
