Melinda Scaturro, the Director of Operations & Client Services, has been a part of the Scarlet Oak Financial Services team from the very beginning. With 5+ years of prior customer services experience, in 2012, Melinda entered the financial services industry and received her Resident Agent license from the Georgia Department of Insurance to transact business in Life, Accident & Sickness, Property, and Casualty insurance. Additionally, Melinda received her Certified Long Term Care designation in 2018.

Over the last ten years, she has gained critical experience in for-profit and non-profit business management. This convergent of capabilities, qualifications, and experience has made Melinda instrumental in the development and growth of Scarlet Oak Financial Services. She has a natural desire to help others, and this is coupled with a long-term personal investment in the success of Scarlet Oak Financial Services and our clientele. With her strengths in project management, project design, systems management, process creation and implementation, and mastery of our Salesforce customer relationship management software, Melinda creates a top-notch client experience while pushing the team to streamline and improve operationally.

In 2021, Melinda was awarded the Master of Public Administration from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. Melinda is also a 2009 graduate of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA.

Melinda and her husband Michael are the proud parents of their son Oliver and their fur children; Puzzles (dog), Ella (cat), and Espurr (cat). Melinda is an avid reader and keeps herself very busy outside of office hours with her multiple hobbies; painting, photography, photoshop, and parenting (haha).
